We admit elderly who need daily nursing care and/or assistance in activities of daily living and also those who have no caregiver to look after them at home. The elderly must be semi-ambulant, wheel-chair bound or bed bound. The criteria for admission to the Home is as recommendeded by the Ministry of Health vide MOH Annex 2 Admission Criteria for Nursing Home.
As the Ministry of Health suggested, the monthly bed charges range from S$500.00 to S$1800.00, which are determined by Means Test. Other fees are charged for consumables, medical consultations and medications. The priority of the Home is to admit the poorer members of our Community, who are faced with financial difficulties, in need of urgent medical and nursing care, and support, and referrals from the Integrated Care Services (ICS). |
